Boston's 1 year anniversary

We have now had Boston in our family for one year! I posted some pictures for reference of how things have changed :)

**Notice how we don't have to use our hands to keep him in one place long enough to take a picture anymore!

Happy Birthday

February is a BUSY birthday month in both the Mather and Nielson families!

A sampling of Mather February birthdays...Cheryl, me, and Matthew.

Me and dad with our Pup-Cakes

The Southam's let us borrow their birthday tree. So cute.

Shaun got me a new speaker system for my car. And a new cd player! Mine was getting really hard to use.

Thank you to everyone who made my birthday special!

One more post before my regular month long hiatus...

Shaun and I were called to be on the Activities Committee in our ward. I was called to be the Athletic Specialist... people have already started to jokingly call me Coach. I'm going to need some serious help with this calling :)

I still love my job

I should start a "Why I love my job" weekly installment :)

Today I met Congressman Chaffetz, shook his hand, and talked with him briefly about internships. Does anyone else get to do stuff like this on a regular basis ?!?

Disneyland

I went to LA to stay with my pregnant sister Kjersten and her kids while her husband was out of town. Instead of stay home and relax, like most pregnant women would want to do, my sister wanted to spend 2 days in Disneyland! I'm was super excited. Disneyland is so much more fun to go to with kids!!!

We met every princess!! And I'm pretty sure almost every Disney Character. We went at the perfect time of year, no people and no lines!!!

The Small World ride was a huge hit! They have made it better and it was so fun to watch Abbie dance.

Sundance 2010

I had a fun, but pretty uneventful Sundance experience this year. My friend Mary and I went to see The Romantics. Below are pictures of the director (and author, cause The Romantics is a novel also) and the cast and crew. The film actually had a number of famous actors in it, but they couldn't make it to the premiere.

Andrea, Matthew, Shaun and I also went to see The Company Men. It was very good and I'm sure it will be released as a movie in the near future. No celebrity sightings though. There is always next year :)
